Hello everyone!

I recently discovered this C.O. Bigelow Rosemary Mint Hand Wash and I’m already addicted to it. I’m a big fan of peppermint and the smell of mint in this hand wash is phenomenal but what impresses me, even more, is the fact that after you’ve washed your hands the scent vanishes. I can hear you now saying: Why do you write it’s a great product when the fragrance disappears when your hands are dry? Well, as much as I like peppermint I’m not keen on touching food with a minty perfume on my hands. I want my bread to smell and taste like bread and not like a mint cake.

During the colder months, my hands tend to get dry and some hand washes make the problem even worse but not this one here. It leaves my hands very soft and hydrated. If you adore the scent of peppermint and you’re looking for a great hand wash I can highly recommend this C.O. Bigelow Rosemary Mint Hand Wash. I’ve never heard of this brand before but if you live in the States you might.

You really need a very and I truly mean a small amount because it lathers very well. This 10 fl. oz / 295 ml bottle will last you a long time. Obviously, it depends on how many people in your household are using it and on the quantity, they use every single time.

It comes in a plastic bottle with a pump which is very handy. No risk of breaking the bottle if it should get knocked over and fall into the sink or to the floor. Don’t ask me why I know that. In the past, I’ve broken a few ceramic hand soap dispensers. No doubt they look great in the bathroom but unfortunately, they are fragile and when the surface of the sink is wet they can easily move around and fall. I was lucky that I never broke the sink or damaged the enamelling.

The price is approx. $ 12.00 for 10 fl. oz / 295 ml. I was able to order it in Germany through the website niche-beauty.com and I paid approx. CHF 15.00 / EUR 13.50. I know it’s certainly not the most economical hand wash but the quality is excellent and believe me, you really need the smallest amount otherwise you’re only wasting your product and money. Your hands won’t be cleaner if you use more…

I’ll definitely repurchase the C.O. Bigelow Rosemary Mint Hand Wash in the future.

If you’re interested in knowing more about this brand here is what I found on the bigelowchemists.com website: “Our landmark apothecary has been providing prescriptions, healing remedies, unique and unusual beauty products and hard to find apothecary items since 1838.

C.O. Bigelow was initially founded by Dr. Galen Hunter. Originally called The Village Apothecary Shop, it was bought and renamed by Clarence Otis Bigelow in 1880. Mr. Bigelow worked alongside Dr. Hunter before taking over the shop.

Part of our unique legacy has been the passing of ownership from employer to employee. Since 1939, three generations of Ginsberg’s have owned and operated the shop, passing from father to son to grandson.

For nearly two centuries C.O. Bigelow has been providing customers with customized service and specialty products that truly make a difference in their lives.

Today, as always, C.O. Bigelow transcends our expectations of a pharmacy— it is a place of discovery, conversation, learning, laughter and community.

C.O. Bigelow lives on”.

This is, of course, my own opinion based on my skin type, and therefore I can’t guarantee that you’ll get the same result.

This isn’t sponsored. I bought the product myself and paid for it with my own money.
