Today I’m showing you my new hair dryer from Dyson. This was an expensive buy CHF 429.00 from manor.ch. My old hair dryer took so long to dry my hair and I’ve been looking at this Dyson Supersonic Limited Edition hair dryer for quite a long time. I was unsure because of the price but I read some very good reviews.
The lovely Estelle from http://www.loveestelle.com published a review about this Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer (check it out here) and after having read her positive opinion I ordered mine. She has the same model but in a different colour. Mine came with the platinum faux leather case (PU leather).
I received it 5 weeks ago and used it quite a few times. I’m very pleased with my purchase. It dries my hair in under 10 minutes which is phenomenal. Compared with my old Babyliss this hair dryer is approx. three times faster and my hair doesn’t get frizzy. I use the regular drying setting with the lowest airflow. The diffuser is very practical and thanks to the clever magnetic attachment so easy to attach. No fiddling around here. The Supersonic is light in weight which is a bonus. It comes with other two attachments that I don’t use because I’ve curly hair and the diffuser is the right one for my type of hair. It’s definitely quieter than my old Babyliss. If you’ve similar hair to mine I can highly recommend it to you. It’s expensive but in my opinion well worth the money.
Here some technical data which I found on the johnlewis.com website:
“A complete re-think of the way hair dryers are designed, the Dyson Supersonic™ Hair Dryer will change your morning beauty routine forever. Enlisting the help of some of the world’s top hair stylists and engineers, Dyson have created a product that is light-weight, efficient and easy to use, yet still delivers powerful drying and styling results every day.
Dyson has turned convention on its head and redesigned the hair dryer by putting the motor in the handle. This change has rebalanced the dryer’s weight and shape, allowing you to dry your hair for longer without getting that pesky arm ache. The V9 motor also spins up to 110,000 times per minute at one inaudible frequency, making it faster, lighter and quieter than other motors.
A microprocessor measures and regulates air temperature 20 times every second, keeping the temperature under control, which helps prevent extreme heat damage to protect natural shine.
With the Supersonic™ Hair Dryer, heat and power settings can be adjusted quickly, ensuring controlled, high velocity airflow.
Only the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer comes with magnetic attachments – so you can adjust quickly and easily. The Dyson diffuser disperses air evenly around your curls, helping to reduce frizz and improve definition. With the Dyson Styling concentrator, you can shape your hair one section at a time – without worrying about disturbing the rest. While the Dyson Smoothing nozzle dries hair gently using smooth, wide air.
Cool to touch
With Heat Shield technology, the surfaces of the attachments stay cool. Even during close‑up styling.
Plus, with the Quiet Mark stamp of approval, this appliance will work extra quietly making it the perfect choice for your morning hair routine.

This is, of course, my own opinion based on my hair type, and therefore I can’t guarantee that you’ll get the same result.
It isn’t sponsored. I bought the product myself and paid for it with my own money.
