I realized that I actually haven’t posted a review about a hand cream for ages. As you might know, L’Occitane is one of my favourite brands when it comes to hand creams. You really can’t beat their big selection. You can find very rich textured hand creams but also very light hand gels such as this L’Occitane Verveine Cooling Hand Cream Gel. There’s something for every one of us depending on the season and, of course, the condition of our hands. Normally the richer creams are more suited during very harsh weather conditions or when you’re working outside i.e. gardening.
Now that the weather is warming up you should switch to a lighter texture. Please continue to apply a hand cream especially at night time even when it’s boiling hot outside. The Verveine Cooling Hand Cream Gel is perfect for the hot weather because it has cooling properties. As soon as you put it on you get a very cooling and refreshing sensation. Who doesn’t want that when it’s hot outside? Because it’s a gel it’s rapidly absorbed into your skin and no greasy residue left. The last thing you want is sticky hands. The smell is gorgeous and unisex. I would describe it as lemony/citrusy and absolutely mouthwatering.
This is what L’Occitane says on the website:
“Unique gel turns to a matte, powdery finish, reducing perspiration and swelling sensations. Enriched with organic verbena extract and tapioca powder to soothe and absorb, leaving hands feeling dry and cooled. The aroma of verbena, orange, geranium and lemon tree appeals to men and women”.
In the US you can buy the 1 oz. size for approx. $ 12.00. In Europe, you’ll find the 75 ml size for approx. CHF 24.00 / EUR 16.00 / £ 16.00. As I said many times before the L’Occitane hand creams aren’t the most affordable ones but the quality is top notch. I can highly recommend this Verveine Hand Cream Gel.
This is, of course, my own opinion based on my skin type, and therefore I can’t guarantee that you’ll get the same result.
I received this 0.35 oz. / 10 ml tube as a free gift from L’Occitane with a recent order.
Have you used this hand cream gel? Do you use hand creams during warmer months or do you think they’re unnecessary? Please let me know in the comments below. I’d like to hear your opinion.
Thanks for reading my post, and have a wonderful time.
